Located approximately 40 km (25 mi) west of Toronto,
Milton is a town in southern Ontario
and considered part of the Greater
Toronto Area. Despite its proximity to Canada's largest city, many outdoor
activities can be enjoyed in Milton's recreational areas and conservation parks,

Lake Conservation Area features pristine waters and 19 km (12 mi) of spectacular
hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. Milton is located on the
edge of the Niagara
Escarpment, which runs through New
York State, Ontario, Michigan,
Wisconsin, and Illinois.
Visitors here have the opportunity to view sedimentary rock, beautiful waterfalls
and over 300 bird species.
